VšĮ Tendance is an open dance community. We don't just teach dance — we grow personalities, nurture friendships and safeguard the dance culture of Klaipėda.

VšĮ Tendance (a Lithuanian public non-profit) was founded on February 18, 2010 in Klaipėda. Our mission is to share the culture of dance and, through dance, to nurture a healthy, harmonious and active community.
Our dance school has no age limits. Whether you're three or a hundred — this is the perfect moment to start. To spin across the floor and forget everything around you, to push doubts aside, to cross every boundary, hearing only the language of your own heart — maybe that is your dream? Or maybe it is your child's path to success?
We believe dance is more than sport or art — it is a language spoken by the body, the heart and the spirit. Our work rests on three values:
Dance should be open to everyone — from age 3 through adults, regardless of experience or financial situation. We offer groups for every age, programs for every level, and special camps.
Our teachers are international champions, carriers of the "Žuvėdra" tradition and of world-class dance experience. We never settle for less — because children deserve the best.
Tendance means friends, competitions, camps and shared experiences that stay with you for life. We are not a studio — we are a family that grows every year.
Dmitrij Popov is a multiple world and European champion in Ballroom & Latin, a long-time dancer of the famous Klaipėda University Latin American dance ensemble "Žuvėdra", a Knight's Cross holder of the Order "For Merits to Lithuania", and a judge of the Lithuanian Dance Sport Federation.
In 2010 he founded VšĮ Tendance — an open dance school for the children and adults of Klaipėda. Under his leadership the school has raised hundreds of dancers — from the very first steps on the floor all the way to international champions.
Every year Dmitrij organises the international WDSF tournament Tendance Cup in Klaipėda — the most important Ballroom & Latin event in Western Lithuania.
